Show us your best handwriting and be part of the 2026 Donald Show!
The Donald Show Handwriting Competition is a long-standing favourite that encourages children to take pride in neat, clear handwriting while celebrating this year’s show. Open to primary school-aged students, the competition is a fun way to build confidence and showcase penmanship.
Each grade level has its own passage to copy, with age-appropriate text designed to suit students from Prep through to Grade 6. Great prizes are up for grabs, proudly sponsored by Buloke Auto Electrical.
Competition Rules
- All work must be the bona fide work of the exhibitor.
- Each entry must include the completed entry card with the student’s name and grade.
- Entries must be written on the official Donald Show lined handwriting sheet.
- Prep to Grade 4: Use a grey lead pencil.
- Grades 5 & 6: May use either a grey lead pencil or a blue pen.
- Entries must be delivered to the Donald Show Office by 5:00 pm on Thursday 8 October 2026.

The Donald Show is fun.
Grades 1–2
The Donald Show is on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th October.
Grades 3–4
The Donald Show’s theme this year is Farming is our Future with farming themed activities.
Grades 5–6
There are rides, animals, entertainment, food, showbags, horse events, a tractor pull and heaps more to see and do at the Donald Show.
